Oak Tree Letterpress Notecard Set
The Mighty Oak Tree is synonymous with English woodland and can grow up to 40m tall, the oldest known Oak tree in England also being a whopping 40ft in girth! An incredible tree thought to be over 1,000 years old, still standing proud in Manthorpe, Lincolnshire.
Letterpress printing uses a press that inks the image then āstampsā the paper. The process has changed little since the Gutenberg bible was published in 1455. These days a few of the manual processes have been replaced by engineering advances, but it is still guided through under the watchful eye of a master printer. The end result is a product with a unique texture and an unrivalled finish.
